Thinking of getting a tasting box for a work team event. Are the 'live' tastings actually live, or just prerecorded videos?

They offer both! The 'Sofa-Weinprobe' kits usually come with a video that's prerecorded, but they do have options for actual live, interactive ones, especially for corporate stuff. You'd probably want to ask them directly for a team event to get a live one.

Mine was a video with the winemaker, which was still cool, but for a team, a live one would be way better. I think you gotta specifically book that kind of thing.

Definitely not just a novelty! I've been really impressed with the wines. They work with smaller German winemakers, so it feels more curated and higher quality than just a big commercial brand.
